Frequently Asked Questions
1. What should I expect during my first session?
Your first session begins with a brief consultation to discuss your needs, goals, and any health concerns. Each session is tailored to you, and you remain fully clothed throughout the treatment.
2. How should I prepare for my appointment?
Wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothing. If you're coming for Vibrational Sound Therapy, please avoid clothing with metal zippers, buttons, or clasps, as the bowls are placed directly on the body. Hydration is important — we recommend drinking water before your session, especially for Vibrational Sound Therapy. After your session (particularly Reflexology or VST), continue to hydrate to support your body’s natural detox and rebalancing processes.
3. Can I combine different services in one session?
We offer combined Reflexology and Reiki sessions with Janis. This is a wonderful way to experience both grounding and energetic balance in one session. Vibrational Sound Therapy is offered in a dedicated room and is a stand-alone service, but Reiki may be included as part of the session when appropriate.
4. How often should I receive sessions?
This depends on your goals. Some clients come weekly for ongoing support, while others schedule sessions monthly or as needed. We're happy to help you find a rhythm that works for you.
5. Is Vibrational Sound Therapy safe for everyone?
It is generally safe, but certain conditions (such as pregnancy, pacemakers, or epilepsy) may require modifications. Please let us know any medical concerns when booking.
6. How do I book a session?
You can book online through our website or contact us directly.
7. What is your cancellation policy?
Because we only see one client at a time, late cancellations are difficult to fill on short notice. We kindly ask for at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment.
Cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice may be subject to a cancellation fee of $25. No-shows may be charged the full appointment fee.
We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in helping us provide the best service to all our clients.
8. Do you offer gift certificates?
Yes! Gift certificates are available and make a thoughtful gift for any occasion.
9. Where can I park?
Free parking is available in the gravel lot directly to the left of our building when you're facing it. You may park anywhere in that lot.
